By far the most famous bandicoot—dare we say marsupial?—of all time, Crash Bandicoot is one of our personal favorite franchises. We love the beautifully detailed Wumpa Islands environment, creative cast of characters, pitch-perfect sound effects (Yow!), and unique gameplay elements like spinning, jumping, TNT crates, wumpa fruit, and the benevolent witch-doctor-possessed Aku Aku mask that made the gibberish “Rutabaga” mean something cool was about to happen.
Whether platforming or racing, you’ll take on the evil Doctor Neo Cortex and save the world as Crash Bandicoot. (Ocassionally, with some serious jaw-dropping and eye-popping.)
