🚦 What’s the status of my order?
Your package will be shipped within 1 business day of your order, at which time you will receive an email with a tracking number for further updates. If you don’t see this email, you may also message us at any time for an update. It generally takes less than a week from placing your order to receiving your items.
⏱ How long does shipping take?
Mikes Game Shop is geared up for FAST, dependable shipping, anywhere in the United States. We typically ship by USPS, though for larger packages, we may ship via UPS. On average, our customers receive their package within 3-5 business days. Note that weekends and holidays are not considered business days. Read our shipping policy
🚀 What if I need my items quicker?
If you need rush processing or shipping, please message us as early as possible so we can try our best to accommodate you. Depending on our circumstances, we may be able to ship out your package on the SAME DAY you place your order. You won’t be charged for rush processing (because we’re nice 😇). However, we will ask that you cover the difference in shipping if you need to upgrade to a faster shipping method.
🤷♀️ What do I do if my order never arrived?
First of all, don’t be alarmed. Packages do occasionally get delayed for a variety of reasons. However, customers almost always get their order. Check your tracking number if you can find it. If the package says delivered but you didn’t get it, reach out to us as soon as possible so we can investigate the issue.
💔 Do you accept returns?
We accept returns only if the item was not as described. To be eligible for a return, your return must be shipped to us within 30 days of purchase and items must be in the same condition that you received them. In the event a package is returned to us for reasons such as an invalid address or "return to sender", we will cancel and refund the order, less a 20% restocking fee. At that time, if you wish to replace the order, shipping may be charged again, as applicable. If you have an item or items you want to return, make sure you read our refund policy first!
🏴☠️ Is everything in the shop authentic?
Mikes Game Shop seeks to be a good citizen in the gaming marketplace. As such, we do not knowingly sell counterfeit or so-called “reproduction” games, movies, or products. To ensure you get a genuine, quality product every time, we carefully examine all our products and guarantee each product is 100% authentic. To maximize transparency, we show the circuit boards of all our cartridge games for all to freely inspect. Nevertheless, if you believe an item in our shop or one that you have received is not authentic, reach out to us immediately at email@example.com so we may investigate.
🧐 How do I check the condition of products?
Whenever you buy a pre-owned item, you should expect some degree of imperfection. However, unless otherwise stated, every pre-owned item for sale by Mike’s Game Shop has been TESTED & WORKS.
We encourage you to examine the photos and product description with care. We always use actual photos and what you see is what you get. If you have any specific questions or concerns about an item’s condition, don’t hesitate to ask!
📀 Are any of the game or movie discs resurfaced?
If needed, absolutely! We use a sophisticated resurfacing machine to restore many of our CD or DVD formatted games and movies to glory. Resurfaced discs have light swirls that may be visible under certain lighting, but they are in no way worse for wear. Resurfacing discs is such a tried-and-true restoration method that we offer it as a paid service to customers for as low as $2.99 per disc. 🧱 How do I know the item I’m buying will actually work?
Unless you’re pretty new to buying pre-owned video games, it’s likely you’ve bought a number of items that didn’t work or were in much worse condition than promised. It’s horrendous that many sellers unknowingly (or knowingly) sell defective items while claiming otherwise. Mikes Game Shop relies totally on its reputation to get your referrals and to win you as a longtime customer. As such, we will always strive to make you fully satisfied.

Games: All of our pre-owned, unsealed games are tested to ensure they arrive in working condition, guaranteed.
Movies: All of our pre-owned, unsealed movies are carefully examined and backed by the Play Perfect guarantee. That means if you have any issues playing it, your next movie is FREE. Just contact us at email@example.com

Electronic accessories: All of our pre-owned, unsealed electronic accessories are tested to ensure they arrive in working condition, guaranteed. We’ve done our best to make a note of any serious issues in the product listing; however, if you have any particular concerns that may be considered minor by us (such as the level of stiffness of a button or joystick on a controller), please ask before buying. We’ll always be honest with you.

No, Mike Game Shop does not repair hardware. If you email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, we will attempt to get your unrecognized discs working again for as little as $2.99/disc! Guaranteed to get your game working or the service is FREE.
🤝 Do you buy or trade games?
Yep, Mike Game Shop buys games from people like you! If you want to sell us your games, email us at email@example.com with photos of a minimum of 10 games you wish to trade for Mikes Game Shop credit. And if you’d prefer cash, just say so. We provide a prepaid shipping label so it’s fast, free, and easy to ship your games!
