Sony’s biggest bet? The adoption of optical discs (CDs) instead of cartridges for its video games. That bet paid off and Playstation became the first successful CD-based console and entrenched itself as a household name in gaming.
We don’t know about you, but we have a soft spot for Playstation 1 games. Remember the obvious triangular geometry?
