🚦 What’s the status of my order?

Your package will ship the next day, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and carrier holidays. You’ll receive an email with a tracking number to stay updated.

⏱️ How long does shipping take? 

Mikes Game Shop offers fast, reliable shipping anywhere in the U.S. via USPS or UPS. Orders usually arrive within 3-5 business days. See our full shipping policy.

🚀 What if I need my items faster? 

For those times when speed matters, we offer rush processing at checkout for a 15% fee (just $2-3 for most orders). With rush processing, any order placed by 1 PM on a business day—including Saturdays—ships the same day!

🤷‍♀️ What do I do if my order never arrived? 

First, don’t panic—shipping delays happen, but packages almost always show up!

  1. If tracking shows “delivered”: Check with household members, neighbors, or building staff, and look around for hidden delivery spots.
  2. If tracking shows “in transit” or “pending”: Contact the carrier for an update.

Important: If the package is returned to us due to an invalid address or marked “return to sender”, you’ll need to cover re-shipping costs within 30 days to receive your order. Refunds are not issued for such cases.

😔 What if the package is truly lost? 

If your package is lost, start by filing a claim with the carrier stating it wasn’t received. Then we’ll file an insurance claim. While pending, you can choose between:

  1. Replace the lost item(s) with the same or other items from our shop.
  2. Receive a refund once the claim is approved.

Note: Insurance is valid for 60 days. If you don’t act promptly, we may be unable to issue a replacement or refund.

💔 Do you accept returns? 

We accept returns only if the item was defective or not as described. See our refund policy for details. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

🏴‍☠️ Is everything in the shop authentic? 

Yes! Mikes Game Shop guarantees 100% authenticity on every product.

We carefully inspect all items, including games, movies, and accessories, to ensure you get the real deal. For cartridge games, we even display the circuit boards for transparency. If you suspect an item is not authentic, contact us at authentication@mikesgameshop.com so we may investigate. 

🧐 How do I check an item’s condition? 

We use actual photos for every product, so what you see is exactly what you’ll get. Unless stated otherwise, all pre-owned items are TESTED & WORKING.

Examine photos and descriptions carefully. If you have specific concerns, feel free to email us before purchasing.

📀 Are any games or movies resurfaced? 

Yes! Many CD and DVD-format items are professionally resurfaced. Resurfaced discs may have visible swirls under certain lighting, but rest assured they work perfectly. In fact, we offer professional resurfacing.

🧱 How do I know my item will work? 

Unless otherwise stated, we test every non-sealed, pre-owned item to ensure functionality before it’s listed. If something slips through, contact us at resolutions@mikesgameshop.com, and we’ll make it right.

No, but we do professionally resurface discs.
